Winter Favorites

 Hello! Here's a few things I've been loving this winter.

I'm not the most sweet loving person. But this tea is amazing! I like it strong otherwise just tastes water with a bit of vanilla.

 My skin is pretty average with a few patches of dryness that get worse during the cold months. This bodyshop moisturizer isn't too heavy but it keeps the patches away without overpowering the rest of my face.

 I've been loving nail polishes. I've never been a glitter type of girl but i've been loving shimmery everything this season so gold glitter is a party must in my opinion. The lipstick is Catrice 170 Work after wine and it's a very pretty mulberry color.

My favorite acessorie has to be this brown leather backpack (that used to belong to my mom). It holds a lot of stuff and it's really useful for rainy days. Everything stays dry and it's very pratical to hold your umbrela.

Winter sweaters! Right now my favorite one is an oldie. I've had it since i was 12 and it still fits amazing. It's oxblood and has a turtleneck (perfect combo).



And of course my favorite holiday song :)

This Week

how i wore my hair most of the week: loose side french braids / sweet gummies that my dad got me (yum) / random blackout on my street / new purchase: lip and cheek dome from Lily Cole's make up line for Bodyshop / straight hair (for the first time in a few weeks) / wearing my light denim jacket for the first time this year (with a pink floyd tee) summer's here. / pastel yellow toes / a tee i liked in Zara (that could be easily done by myself but oh well.

como usei o meu cabelo durante a maior parte da semana: tranças francesas nos lados do cabelo / gomas que o meu pai me ofereceu (yum) / um apagão inesperado na minha rua / nova compra: lip and cheek dome da colecção de maquilhagem da Lily Cole para a Bodyshop / cabelo liso (pela primeira vez em semanas) / a usar o meu blusão de ganga claro pela primeira vez este ano (com uma t-shirt de Pink Floyd) o verão chegou. / unhas dos pés amarelo pastel / uma t-shirt de que gostei na Zara que podia fazer facilmente, oh bem...

Summer Essentials

As the weather gets warmer i like to use "light" products on my face. Also you might notice the excess of aloevera in the list ahah, i do find that this ingridient really helps my sensitive skin specially after a sunburn (which i get a lot in the summer even just by walking on the street sometimes). I got the Natura SPA collection in the winter but i've used most of the facial moisturizer just recently. It's very light but effective in my opinion (i can't handle heavy moisturizers!) As it's almost hitting pan (can i say that about moisturizer?) i've been using the bodyshop Aloe as well. I find this one creamier but soothes my face as well. The garnier cream is AMAZING. I was kinda suspicious about the all "3 in 1" thing but it definitely works! (If you're interested I'll write a review on it). I've talked about Breath of Fresh Air before and it works as great in the summer as it did in Winter for me. I love the bodyshop color stain, as a pale person (with no undertones it seems) i like to use i in my cheeks to look somewhat rosy in the summer (without relying on the sun). The ginger lipbalm is a great find as it leaves my lips moisturized and shiny without being all sticky. I know it's a "wintery" smell but i just love spices. The sunscreen it's pretty self explanatory ahah, it's foamy and doesn't leave my skin sticky also protects me from the evil sun beams so it does its job! The cat eyed mint green sunglasses from zara will be a staple for me this summer i feel.

Com o tempo a ficar mais quente gosto de usar produtos leves na minha cara. Também devem ter reparado no excesso de aloevera na lista ahah, é um ingrediente que ajuda mesmo a minha pele sensível especialmente depois de um escaldão (que eu apanho imenso no verão as vezes só de andar na rua). Eu recebi a colecção Nativa Spa no Inverno mas usei a maior parte do hidratante facial recentemente. É muito leve mas eficiente na minha pele (que não aguenta hidratantes muito cremosos). Comos está quase a acabar tenho estado a usar o hidratante da bodyshop também. Este é mais cremoso mas acalma a minha pele e tem um efeito semelhante ao do boticário. O creme da Garnier é INCRÍVEL! Eu estava meio na duvida em relação ao efeito "3 em 1" mas funciona mesmo! (Se estiverem interessados faço uma review). Já tinha falado do tonificante Breath of Fresh Air antes e para mim funciona tão bem no Verão como no Inverno. Adoro a "mancha de cor" da bodyshop, como sou pálida gosto de a usar nas bochechas para parecer algo rosada no verão (sem depender dos efeitos do sol). O hidratante labial de gengibre é um achado muito bom porque deixa os meus lábios brilhantes e hidratados sem ser pegajoso, gengibre é um aroma algo invernoso mas eu adoro cheiros de especiarias. O protector solar é bastante óbvio ahah, é uma espuma leve que não deixa a pele pegajosa e protege-me dos malvados raios solares por isso faz o seu trabalho! Finalmente, consigo prever que os óculos tipo "cat eye" verde menta vão ser uma peça essencial para mim este verão.
