The Louis Vuitton RTW collection for this Spring/Summer is quite something. 60's silhouettes, 3 different lenghts of skirts, midriff showcase, bright colored square patterns that look like lsd allucinations. And the acessories? Oh gosh super pointy kitten heels that look painful but ever so adorable. I also applaud the matchy-matchy effect from the handbags it's amazing how the outfits still look harmonious with so much pattern going on.
To smooth things over the beauty look was very classic but the models wore bright eyeshadow tying everything together.
Here are my favorite pieces.

And of course some A list actress already got her hands on one of the outfits. Check out Kerry Washington wearing a complete Vuitton outfit in the Premiere of Django Unchained (Also it's not fair to be 36 and look adorable and not silly at all with a giant headbow).
The best part was the show itself. I know Marc Jacobs took inspiration in Les Deux Plateaux for the collection but I thought right away of a film called Playtime by Jacques Tati.
The film features a modern/futuristic Paris through the eyes of an american tourist and a french man called Monsieur Hulot.

(Playtime)
The paired up models walking so perfectly in some sort of robotic synchronism reminds me of a lot of scenes from the movie (a specially funny one involving nuns). The escalators were a brilliant idea and the big finale was so cinematographic. Here's the video:

Did you guys like the collection?
