January in clothes

Do you guys start the month telling your friends "Oh i can't really go on a shopping spree right now, I'm trying to save up some money." And then by the end of the month you realize all the cute stuff you picked out here and there happens to be the equivalent of a shopping spree? Yeah me neither (cough).I can't complain much though, because everything was on sale (the romwe skirt was on a flash sale so i can't remember how much i paid). So i am (a bit) responsible at least.

 Also got this month's Company Magazine. Pretty interesting read, there's a lot about the HBO show "Girls"
Not only an interview with Allison Williams but also with Lena Dunham (the director/writer/actress of Girls).
If you haven't watched it yet you should it's pretty cool.

Also there's a St Valentines' inspired beauty spread. It's just gorgeous. This is my favorite look: the nails and the red winged liner work so well together- must try this look (and try not to screw up the nails).

#1 Fall Wishlist

Even though it still feels like summer i've been checking some new collections (or not) and there's some stuff i'm loving right now!
Black lace kimonos- even though they don't offer much protection against the cold i think they would be a great light jacket for me this season. so easy to dress up or wear with a casual outfit.
studded shorts- yes high waisted black distressed shorts with spikes. cliche much? yes but they're amazing!
studded loafers- i know everything will be studs and spikes this season. I still love it but i'm liking the pieces with the subtle details like these shoes with studs at the back.
biker boots- always a classic.
lilac hair -  i'm thinking about ditching my pink ends for some lilac. what do you guys think?
baby blue dress - doesn't quite seem to fit in this set. I tried it the other day and found it so sweet i couldn't resist to add it here.

new bag - i like this style. the grey jersey material gives it a cool edgy vibe.
comme des fuckdown* beanie - i just love the brand. It's really smart and cool and i like the message it stands for. Also A$ap Rocky usually sports clothing from this brand and he's the dopest rapper fashionwise.

 I've been quite absent lately but the summer is almost over and i will get right on track pretty soon!

still rockin' the tropicana trend with this old h&m dress // close up to my new spike necklace - gift from a friend // new lush goodies - karma bubble bar, oatfix mask (love!) and a figs and leaves soap sample // zara and pull & bear sale results // bershka new spiked shoes // primark vanilla pod candle - amazing scent // tried retro curls to compliment my red dress :) // all the nail polishes i used // to paint these space nails for the 100th time // primark stuff - owl crop top, cross necklace, basic tights // MIYO golden eyeshadow - decided to give this brand a try. It's cheap and the quality isn't half bad! (warning: a bit of fall out when applying) // new bikini from oshyo // detail: cream with neon yellow palm trees. super cute!

Also H&M is having these crazy promotions right now so even though i left without any shoes I bought some stuff to cheer me up ahah.
E a H&M está a ter umas promoções loucas neste momento por isso mesmo tendo saído de lá sem sapatos comprei algumas coisas para me animar!ahah

 Pocket mirror with a lovely bird print (seems silly being a girl and all that but i never had a little mirror before) heart shaped floral glasses (I love them! such a nice twist from the typical red lolita or the simple golden ones) and spikey golden earrings. The lovely octopus necklace is from an online shop called Cold Summer (i quite like their stuff).

Um espelho de bolso com ilustrações de pássaros adoráveis (parece um pouco idiota sendo eu rapariga e tal mas nunca tive um espelho portátil antes) óculos de sol em forma de coração com um padrão floral (Adoro! é uma bela variação dos típicos óculos vermelho lolita ou os dourados simples) e brincos tipo spike dourados. O lindo colar polvo é de uma loja online chamada Cold Summer (e eu gosto bastante das coisas deles).

Studded feet

I'm really loving the idea of a classic shoe silhouette like a loafer/slipper with the edginess of the studs. The 1st ones that i spotted were the very famous VECTRA3 from topshop. Sadly because we don't have this store in Portugal I couldn't get them (I'm not to keen on buying shoes online because my size varies a lot).

Eu adoro a ideia de um sapato clássico tipo mocassin/sapatilha com a irreverência das tachas. Os primeiros que encontrei foram os famosos VECTRA3 da topshop. Infelizmente porque não temos essa loja em Portugal não consegui compra-los (não gosto muito de comprar sapatos online porque o meu numero varia imenso).

Recently I found these beauties in Zara. They look sort of like dupes of the VECTRA3 the studs are more subtle and instead of leather they're made of polyester . They also come in black and nude like the VECTRA though. They cost 25,95€ which makes them cheaper ha!

Recentemente encontrei estas belezas na Zara. São uma alternativa bastante semelhante aos VECTRA3, as tachas são mais subtis e em vez de cabedal são feitos de poliéster. Também vêm em preto e nude como os VECTRA e custam 25,95€ o que os torna mais baratos ha!

These below are my favourites. I like that the skulls are so dainty that you need to be very close to see them so it's like a pair of classy loafers with a fun twist. I know a lot of people find skulls tacky but i really like them when they're well styled with an outfit. I tried them on the store and they fit very well and the velvety material is very nice. I don't usually trust Bershka's quality but i was very impressed by these. Way better then some H&M shoes i've seen.

Estes são os meus favoritos. Eu gosto que os detalhes das caveiras sejam tão delicados que é preciso estar muito próximo do sapato para as ver bem. Por isso funcionam como um par de loafers com um pormenor interessante. Eu sei que muitas pessoas acham caveiras pirosas mas eu gosto imenso delas quando são usadas com bom gosto num outfit. Eu normalmente não confio na qualidade da Bershka mas fiquei bastante impressionada com estes sapatos. Muito melhores que alguns da H&M que já vi.
